We visited a sunflower field today! I’ve never seen one in person, and to walk through acres of them left me amazed. The farm is only a short drive from our new home in Kentucky. Since the weather actually isn’t too bad at the moment, we decided to make the trip. We also saw a field of wildflowers – Eunice picked a cup full and left with the perfect amount to fill a vase with! The florals are sitting in her apartment now and looks gorgeous.

I realize perhaps the silliness to edit this photo in black and white, but I felt it lent a striking feel to the image. When I see this, it almost feels like she is walking in a different land, unnamed and very far away, as if in a dream or the epilogue of a novel.
