A week ago, I was in Guatemala serving a children’s school. Our church team regularly visits to keep the place looking sharp, so that the children of Chimaltenango can be more equipped to take care of themselves and each other. And of course, to learn who they are in Jesus.

This was my first time in Central America, and only my second time out of the country. In only a week, I got to learn so much about Guatemalan culture, as well the value of community, joy, and servant-heartedness. I’d love to return someday to see the wonderful people again!
