I had the honor of photographing a 5K this weekend. It was put on by Erin’s Purpose, a Christian organization that helps the youth with confidence, encouragement, and cultivating good mental health. Everyone was so kind, and my girlfiend and I had such a good time supporting a good cause.

My favorite part was the young photographer pictured – his name is Xariah, and as soon as he saw my camera, he became obsessed with taking photos! He was tenacious, and I gave in. I showed him the basics, and then I (very carefully) let him loose to get images of what he liked. He’s only 4, and his photos were actually quite good! It was my privilege to be part of this event, as well as getting to kindle an photographic interest in the next generation.
