Hey! We’ve been places. Since you last saw me, I’ve had the great blessing to travel across the country (twice!), experience new events, explore the Midwest, and – my favorite – reunite with friends. The photo above is from a Friendsgiving with our Bible study; it was potluck-style, and everyone delivered. Dishes ranged from the classic turkey and mashed potatoes to the beloved cassaroles and pies. Shoutout to the guy who brought a custom chocolate fudge pie! It was all so delicious.

But even more than that, I left feeling full from the camaraderie. For me, this is life. Few joys match an evening of food and laughter shared between loved ones. It doesn’t matter ultimately what sights I see, careers I build, or photos I take. Where there is friends, there is cheer.
