I went on a yearly retreat to Colorado recently, so I got to experience the Rockies again! The weather was beautiful this year, and I met wonderful new people and reunited with old friends. This photo was taken on the way from Colorado Springs; a storm was rolling in while part of my group was on Pike’s Peak, which of course led to a particularly exciting adventure for them.

Thr travel bug in me continues to grow, not lessen like I had anticipated. After visiting Europe and now Colorado so far this year, I expected a season of “homebody-ness,” but I’m already planning my next outings. And summer is here, so that’s not helping anything!
