I captured this sunset recently on the gorgeous island of Mykonos, Greece, and it reflects my current state of mind. I’d like to think I just finished a chapter of my life. I’ve been swallowed up in chasing professional and personal goals, always looking ahead to the next challenge barreling towards me and hoping I could tackle each one before I become overwhelmed. It feels like a lifetime since I’ve stared at a sunset without an ambition stealing me away from the horizon.

But! I’m through the tunnel now, and though I still have projects careening towards their deadlines, I had an opportunity to breathe this week, to take in the sunshine and refuel myself for the next chapter to come. I’m looking forward to accomplishing all that’s ahead of me so I can get back to watching the sun set.
