I had the opportunity to travel to Greece and Turkey with a church group for a week and a half, and boy was it magical. I travelled internationally for the first time, saw ancient ruins from empires past, learned more about St. Paul, discovered more about Greek culture, and connected with amazing people along the way. And of course tried so much food! I had no idea how delicious baklava is.

I have an overwhelming number of photos and videos to sort through, so I’ll be doing that for the next several weeks. This experience gave me a taste of the world beyond the USA, and though I’m grateful to be home in my own bed, I’m already keeping an eye out for the next chance to immerse myself in cultures so different from mine.
