March is here! Isn’t it insane that 2025 is 1/6 over? I thought we just celebrated New Year’s a couple weeks ago. But anyway, I went on a few walks this weekend to really take in the (slightly) warmer weather, and I had the pleasure of accompanying my girlfriend and her dog. You can see who he likes more – he was dying to get out of my arms to check on why she lagged behind! Photo credit goes to her, of course.

My girlfriend asked me, “Do you really take your camera everywhere you go?” I nodded more or less, but until she asked, I didn’t necessarily realize just how important it is to me to capture everyday life through photography. My tendency as a person is to look backwards, to see how things once were and reminisce on the good and learn from the bad. I like to think I’ll look back on this photo in a year, or ten, or twenty, and remember all the good surrounding this moment.
