
These are two of my favorite things right now: cereal and my bed. I’m in a brief phase where I’m craving these two things most of the time. Some of it is just how I respond to gloomy weather – who doesn’t want to stay in bed when it’s cold and rainy? – but I’m also especially busy both personally and professionally, and it all works together to keep my brain churning long into the night.
I was just having a great conversation with some friends about how important grace is to our lives (and our sanity). These phases where I feel like my diet’s run loose, or my to-do list refuses to shrink, and I’m always tired – it’s normal, and it’s okay! I take a deep breath and remember that grace is very real and eases the weight. So have another bowl, sleep another hour. 🙂
