I visited Spring Mill State Park last weekend with my brother and his family! For such a dense park, I’m surprised I had only heard of it earlier this year. Every time I asked someone about it, they mentioned a new feature of the place. “There are beautiful trails there!” One said. Another mentioned that “the caves are pretty cool.” And yet another claimed, “There’s a living village where they teach you how things were back then!” So of course it soared to the top of my travel list, and the timing worked out that my brother was also trying to make plans to visit. A really neat place overall; the variety of things to see and do make it a particularly unique state park. I recommend it to anyone looking to catch a glimpse of our past while taking in the natural beauty of the land.
