I went to an Oktoberfest celebration near Indianapolis this weekend! A friend invited me to a brewery that closes down once a year to have a big shindig in their building with all the fun Bavarian festivities. There was a best-dressed contest, a stein mug holding contest (pictured), and plenty of pretzels and beer to go around! It was a great time and a wonderful way to start the fall celebrations that are popping up everywhere as the weather cools and October begins.
