I have a bit of a humblebrag: I’ve been making delicious iced mochas at home lately. Though I’ve been making espresso drinks for almost a year now, only in the last month or so have they been consistently bomb. Wanna know the secret? I doubled the sugar in it. Such a simple solution that totally changed my coffee game. No wonder it’s in literally everything; it feels like cheating. An unfortunate reality even as someone with a sweet tooth!

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to open a cafe one day. To make excellent coffee for a living, spending the day in a rustic, cozy space filled with lovely and interesting people – seems like the life. Then I remember my days in the service industry and the mountain of stress and early hours that came with it, and I’m brought back to reality. Haha! Perhaps one day, but I am fully content brewing flavorful drinks just for myself in my own home.
