I got a new camera recently to add to my arsenal, and I’m really excited to see what is capable of. This is a shot I happened to take with it on my way back home.

Something I find myself doing so often with photography is getting caught up with the technology and cool gadgets that come along with it. The ratio between the amount of time I spend browsing gear and using gear is pretty embarrassing. It’s an uphill battle every day because I’m so used to imagining a reality that’s better than the one I’m in, even if my current world is already so captivating. I just have to remember to be intentional with how I engage myself – through capturing photos or however else. And hopefully through that I am able to leave this place better than I found it.
